Is in the parish of Linkinhorne and mining district of Caradon, situate 6 miles from Liskeard and 7 from Callington. The nearest shipping place is at Looe, 15 miles distant. There have been two shafts sunk, the old sump to a depth of 30 fathoms below the adit, and the old engine shaft to a depth of 100 fathoms below the adit.
