Pednandrea is the site of an old tin and copper mine, now in the middle of Redruth. The chimney, which is now 4 storeys lower than the original, is visible for many miles.
Near the top of Fore Street, Redruth, you will find the Pednandrea chimneystack, which has stood here since 1824 from its position behind Sea View Terrace.
