Roskrow United Mine (South Tresavean Mine), Ponsanooth, Carnmenellis Area,
Wendron & Falmouth District,
Worked from 1860 to 1870, and re-worked in 1912. The mine
was producing silver and uranium, but there are no records about its output.
The main adit, which was explored during the late 1950's by the Atomic Energy
Authority, has its portal at the foot of a quarry to the left of the footpath
leading from the disused mill to the old railway. Located NE of Ponsanooth.
