Lostwithiel Golf Course is set in 150 acres of rolling wooded hills which look down onto the valley of the River Fowey and Restormel Castle. Lostwithiel Golf Course has been laid out to take full advantage of the natural features of the landscape, combining two very distinctive areas of hillside and valley. The course was built in 1991, and is an 18 hole, par 72 course, just under 6,000 yards in length. It is suitable for a beginner, yet offers a challenge to the better player.
The challenging front nine has particularly spectacular views across the countryside, while the back nine runs through verdant parkland along the River Fowey.
Lostwithiel Golf Course is easily accessible via both the A38/A30 and is close to the town of Lostwithiel.
Handicap Requirement: Knowledge of golf etiquette. Exceptionally good practice facilities including a floodlit driving range with under cover and grass bays, putting greens and practice bunkers. Resident fully qualified P.G.A. professional, fully stocked pro shop with clubs, trolleys and golf buggies for hire.
