China Fleet Golf Club, near Saltash, Cornwall, opened in 1991. China Fleet Golf course was designed by Martin Hawtree and uses the classic design of ten par fours, four par fives and four par threes.
Bordered by the River Tamar and the Kingsmill Creek, the surroundings are extremely scenic. The course offers an challenge to golfers of all standards.
China Fleet Golf is a par 72, 18-hole 6551 yard Championship course. As well as the course there is a floodlit 28 bay driving range, a golf shop and a team of golf professionals.
Handicap Certificate required.
An alternative Blue Tee Course for Ladies opened in 2001. The Blue Tee course is 5,037 yards and par 71. This option shortens three of the difficult holes and avoids having to play the 14th hole across the lake. You play along the lake and still get the excitement of the water hazard. Juniors and visitors who might find the Red Tees a little too difficult, can play off these Blue Tees.
